Fritz Fisher

 

Fritz FisherFritz L. Fisher practices in the areas of commercial real estate, corporate and financing transactions, and general business matters. He represents a variety of developers, real estate investors, banks and telecommunications companies, and has worked on development projects and real estate transactions throughout the country.

Prior to Fisher & Fisher, for 16 years he was a founding and managing shareholder of Fisher, Sweetbaum, Levin & Sands, P.C. Earlier in his career, he was in-house counsel to BetaWest Properties, Inc., where he worked on development projects, property dispositions and leasing transactions in multiple states. Prior to that, he practiced law with Holme Roberts & Owen in Denver, where he worked in that firm's real estate and tax groups, and with Baker & McKenzie in London, England, where his practice focused on multi-jurisdictional mergers and acquisitions.

Fritz has been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers of America each year since 2013 in the field of Real Estate Law.

He was recognized as one of the "Forty Under Forty" Business Leaders by the Denver Business Journal in 1998. He was also listed in Colorado "Super Lawyers" by Law and Politics in 2006, the first year that the designation was given in Colorado, and has been included on that list every year since then; this designation is given to the top 5% of attorneys in Colorado, based on peer recognition and professional achievement. He has been given an "A-V" preeminent 5.0 out of 5 rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available.

Fritz is the founder of The Shannon Foundation, an organization that he has run since 1994, and he sat on the Board of Directors of The Rocky Mountain Youth Clinics from 1998 through 2004; both are charitable organizations that help to pay for medical care for children in need. He also served for six years on the Board of Trustees of Colorado Academy.

Fritz received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1981 and his law degree from the University of Illinois in 1984 (cum laude).
